New Build Event: ‘Environments for Co-Creation’
Wednesday 29 January
5-6.30pm at Bethlem Gallery

Join Project Art Works and creative duo, Bea and Jill at Bethlem Gallery for a discussion on environments and co-creation in creative practice. The event will be in the format of a ‘Long table Discussion’, which invites a range of perspectives to a conversation exploring themes of agency, consent, and the adaptation of spaces to support meaningful and personalised artistic engagement.

This event is part of the programme accompanying New Build, a residency and exhibition by Project Art Works at Bethlem Gallery and the National Autism Unit.

About Jill & Bea:
Bea and Jill are a creative duo, working as one artist. Bea is an autistic young person, Jill is their mum and carer. They are part of A Collective CIC and lead Autistic Youth Hub, a collective of autistic and similarly neurodivergent young adults focused on creating supportive and inclusive environments of mutual respect and accountability.

About Project Art Works:
Based in Hastings, Project Art Works collaborates with people with complex support needs, their families, and support networks. Their practice intersects art and care, responding to neurodivergence—its challenges, gifts, and impact. Through exhibitions, films, events, and direct support, Project Art Works challenges traditional paradigms of inclusion and representation.
