As part of the EXPLORERS project this autumn Project Art Works will be at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney where we will be facilitating inclusive workshops, screening our film Illuminating the Wilderness and taking part in a long table discussion on Art, People and Care.

Starting with a series of huge blank paper banners, Project Art Works will facilitate an installation that will come to life with drawings and paintings made by participants over two days during the MCA’s Art is for Everyone weekend.

Art is for Everyone is a free 2-day celebration of access and inclusion, and is presented in partnership with the The Big Anxiety, Australia’s largest mental health event.

As part of the weekend’s programme MCA will also debut the new film Illuminating the Wilderness (2018) for Australian audiences.

The film is being shown as part of the EXPLORERS project, a 3-year program of art and conversation led by Project Art Works in partnership with cultural organisations across the UK and in Australia.

The Art, People, Care seminar is an opportunity for Project Art Works to share the transformative thinking behind the EXPLORERS project and the exhibition; and host a Long Table of rotating speakers. Guests include neurodiverse artists and leading disability and arts advocates.
