Project Art Works Explorers project is taking over Tate Exchange Liverpool between 10-13 September. Together with artists, academics, social care specialists and people with learning disabilities in Liverpool, we will be holding public discussions, film screenings, debates and activities about cultural inclusion, collaboration, and social responsibility.
At the same time there will be workshops for people with complex needs in the Clore Studio Space, and neurodiverse artists from the Blue Room at the Blue Coat in Liverpool will host a tour of the Tate Liverpool collection, exploring their favourite artworks.
All this is intended to develop a group of ‘Neurodiversity Champions’ among the Tate Liverpool staff team, in anticipation of PAW taking over Tate’s top floor gallery space in April 2019.
