PUTTING OURSELVES IN THE PICTURE
As part of the EXPLORERS co commission, a new exhibition opens at Fabrica in Brighton this month. Fabrica will host a rolling exhibition, Putting Ourselves in the Picture, beginning with a selection of work from the Project Art Works archive curated by Kate Adams and artist/makers. As part of the space a studio will be set up where work will be created by local people led by three artists. This work will then form part of each exhibition.
The lead artists are Sara Dare, Jo Offer and Annis Joslin. The curators are Lisa Slominski, Marc Steene and Cornelia Marland (Outside In), Liz Whitehead (Fabrica).

About EXPLORERS
EXPLORERS is a three-year programme of creative investigations through collaborations with neurodiverse communities and cultural organisations across the UK and in Australia.
EXPLORERS is taking place against a backdrop of increased hardship and marginalisation of vulnerable people. The project celebrates and raises awareness of the dynamic, extraordinary contribution neurodiverse communities make to art and culture.
The EXPLORERS project is supported by the Arts Council Ambition for Excellence Programme and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
