“Snow Cake opened The Berlin Film Festival in 2006. I wanted to highlight the joys and challenges of loving and living with someone on the autistic spectrum. As a parent of an autistic child, I tried to be as honest and truthful as I could be in the writing. Ros Blackburn, autistic speaker, spent a week working with Sigourney to help her accurately portray an autistic adult.
Our son Johnny now attends Project Artworks and we continue to see the high level of commitment, patience and support that PAW facilitators offer. We hope you’ll support this benefit and enjoy the screening event!” Angela Pell.
