Little Gate Flowers will be popping up at Project Art Works In Residence, 12 Claremont, Hastings, this Friday and Saturday.
You’ll be able to purchase flowers by the stem, ready-made bouquets, jam jar posies and some beautiful, pressed flower cards which have been handmade by work trainees.
The Living Things exhibition presents works by artists from the Project Art Works supported studio. Colours, movement, and rhythm may suggest seasonal or organic forms, but also readily exceed them. The exhibition becomes less about representing nature and more about how meaning is shaped, through mark-making, material engagement, and curatorial framing.
Little Gate Flowers pop-up hours: 11.30 – 14.30 on Friday 15 and 11.00 – 15.00 on Saturday 16 May.
