Ahead of documenta fifteen opening in Kassel, Germany, in June 2022, there is an online programme of talks between the collectives.

For the fifth episode of lumbung konteks, Project Art Works and Trampoline House will discuss navigating systems of care and control.

Join us on Sunday, 10 April, at 12.30pm, live-streamed on YouTube in English with simultaneous translation into German language and International Sign Language.

Trampoline House and Project Art Works in conversation with sociologist Yasmin Gunaratnam, will discuss conditions of dependency imposed by state institutions, and how we are all affected by them in unequal ways. Drawing from the communities they work with, the two lumbung members discuss the differences and intersections between their programmes, and how art practice can act against isolation, and be a way of creating agency and access to public life.

The online conversation series lumbung konteks invites documenta fifteen lumbung members to introduce, expand, and reflect on each other’s practice and wider ecosystems.
