Charlie Thomas has been coming to Project Art Works since his was a child, when he regularly joined the Art Breaks sessions in the school holidays. His current practice stems from his love of architecture and well-known buildings. Charlie likes to set himself impossible challenges, such as recreating the De La Warr Pavilion out of matchsticks. His favourite medium is the simple pencil. He will work on small and large scale drawings from skylines to interiors with just a single 2B.
Charlie’s sculpture of the De La Warr has recently been selected for exhibition at Hastings Open 2020.
