Helen Charlton
Helen Charlton, Development Director joined Project Art Works in 2019, and has worked across social care and cultural sectors in project management, professional development, audience development, marketing, communications, and fundraising. She has a degree in Visual Culture, a certificate in Arts and Cultural Management and in Film Production, and a Diploma in Marketing.
Previous to Project Art Works, Helen worked at disabled people’s user-led organisation Independent Lives, Pavilion Publishing leading on conferences and events on supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health support needs, and other areas of health and social care. Earlier in her career she worked at regional audience development agency Sussex Arts Marketing, collaborating with third and public sector organisations, museums and galleries, and development agencies including MOMA, V&A, English Heritage, National Trust, SEEDA, The Royal Pavilion, RNIB.
