Kim Balukiewicz is a dedicated advocate for inclusive access to arts and culture and an experienced specialist in arts research development, having worked in various roles across the UK cultural heritage sector since 2011.
Throughout her career Kim has actively championed and supported cultural institutions. She has worked with Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Jewish Museum London to achieve sustainable growth and significant partnerships with UK funders such as Arts Council England and National Lottery Heritage Fund, including securing the Jewish Museum’s inaugural status as a National Portfolio Organisation.
At Tate, Kim works closely with Tate’s senior leaders to develop strategic research priorities and map opportunities for interdisciplinary engagement across the global research landscape. She leads on Tate’s involvement in the Independent Research Organisation Consortium and Tate’s relationship with the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
