Art. Freedom. Care.
Observer Building Residency.
Art. Freedom. Care. a new programme funded by The Three Guineas Trust, Paul Hamlyn Foundation and The National Lottery.
This programme highlights the creative and social contribution of people with complex needs, families and support workers.
Through Art Freedom Care we will interrogate and promote creative and sustainable models of artist development and self-directed care through research and a wide range of productions and partnerships.
Art Freedom Care will provide Continued Professional Development opportunities for neurodiverse artists and makers, families and support teams through studio based and digital creative practice and knowledge exchange with social care practitioners and commissioners.
As we continue to work with a blended approach to studio practice we are using the unoccupied space in the Observer Building, Hastings for a two-week residency. Over this period, Project Art Works artists/makers have experimented with new ways of working to inform our creative programme going forward.
