Natalie works in a range of formats, scale, and media that enable her to creatively discover ways to express herself. She researches images to inspire fine-detailed pencil drawings, watercolours and acrylic paintings of landscapes, nature, and portraits. She also creates unique, free, and beautiful patterns in ink and acrylic that she plans to transfer to textiles. Her ceramics range from colourful functional objects to surreal creatures.
Much of Natalie’s work is contextually influenced by memories of relationships and places, however, she enjoys the freedom of working from her imagination, and describes how her practice helps her wellbeing.
Natalie has recently designed her PATH – Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope with us, and is a volunteer on our Art Breaks programme, with plans to mentor younger artists in the future.
