Cherry Lane
Cherry Lane has a multi-sensory approach to working with paint by exploring its touch, feel and texture, often choosing warm colours. Working for long periods, Cherry Lane connects with canvasses by gradually relaxing and opening her hands and often leaning on them greater connection. Her images accumulate traces of the movements made with her hands and fingertips amidst larger gestures produced whilst pressing against the surface of canvas or paper.
