Darryl Spencer often makes large-scale, abstract paintings and is a prolific mark-maker with an intense preoccupation for viscose materials. Painting using expressive and repetitive movements, the picture surface is rapidly covered. Darryl also draws, sometimes using his own image and words in combination with his paintings.
