Broadcast live on BBC News as the winning collective is announced

The Turner Prize award ceremony will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Front Row (https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qsq5) and BBC News Channel (https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/live/bbcnews) between 7:15PM and 8PM.  The winner will be announced just around 7:55PM.

We are extremely proud to be part of this historical event where the Turner Prize 2021 nominees all comprise of collectives who all have a socially engaged practice.

Archive on 4, Everyone Is an Artist,  was recorded during a Tuesday Studio and includes Ellen Prebble, Marion Willis, Natalie Dance, Christopher Tite, Sarah Dunne, Mark Daniels, Kate Adams and Tim Corrigan.

Taking his cue from this year’s Turner Prize shortlist of five artists’ collectives, James Fox tells the untold story of community and socially-engaged art in post-war Britain.

Front Row, who featured each of the Turner Prize nominated collectives in the week running up to the announmcent., was recorded during a Friday Studio and features Sarah T, Gabby, Carl Sexton, Georgie Scott, Andy Cooper, Mell Sexton and Kate Adams.

The Turner Prize 2021 exhibition is now open at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in Coventry, 2021 City of Culture, till 12 January 2022.
