Explorers Event, Tate Liverpool

Bringing together national conversations about how cultural institutions can evolve into more caring and inclusive spaces, the event will embrace agency in art, systems of care and different artist development practices. This event aspires to be non-didactic and accessible and will include a majority of contributors with lived experience of disability, neurodivergence or as caregivers.

Including contributions from national profile Supported Studios – Project Art Works, ActionSpace, Venture Arts, Intoart.

Explorers is a 5 year programme of exhibitions, artist residencies, activism and conversation with galleries and supported studios, focusing on putting neurodivergent people at the centre of cultural life.
