Louise Newham embraces new ways of working, commenting on the qualities of the art materials during the process of making of screen-prints, mono prints, clay models, animations, drawings and paintings. Louise’s artworks draw on experiences and memories that are meaningful to her, generally the people, places and objects from her life. Using pencil and pen in a detailed, controlled way, the drawings are often accompanied by written text.
