Louise Newham has been involved with Project Art Works since 2009. Louise embraces new ways of working, often commenting on the qualities of her art materials during the process of making of screen-prints, mono prints, clay models, animations, drawings and paintings. Louise draws on experiences and memories that are meaningful to her, generally the people, places and objects from her life. Using pencil and pen in a detailed, controlled way, the drawings are often accompanied by written text.
Louise is always keen to talk to fellow participants and welcome new visitors to the studio and her inquisitive nature often brings the group together.
