During May we welcomed the Photoworks team to the first Awareness day of the Explorers Project. Presentations included updates from the Project Art Works team on the Explorers project and its context within the current social and political climate.

Project Art Works is recruiting an Evaluator for EXPLORERS.

The latest Peer Support Meeting was held on Wednesday 22nd March at the Project Art Works Arches. Discussions included recruiting support workers / PAs and explored different models of accommodation for people with complex needs.

Project Art Works is delighted to announce that we have been commissioned by Screen South Random Acts 2016 to make a 3-minute film with Sharif Persaud. A participant in the Parachute Club, Sharif will direct and lead the film with the support of film-maker and Project Art Works Lead Artist, Tim Corrigan.

Art Breaks offer an exciting opportunity for children and young people with complex needs and their families (including siblings and carers) to take part in creative activities. This Easter we will be delivering workshops at Chailey Heritage School near Lewes.

In July 2016, Project Art Works was awarded a small grant from the Hastings and Rother Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to deliver a pilot study. As part of this study we have a created a short online survey to help us to investigate what kinds of support are already available and/or whether new models of support might be needed to ensure high quality, sustainable and successful personalised provision.
